Speaker 1:

Ready, ready. Hey everyone, welcome back to the latest episode of Snitchin' it's your host, kristen and Brittany.

Speaker 2:

Get ready for the best part of your day, and we have a very special guest and she needs no other intro than her name is Taylor and she is born in 1989. I'm so jealous, I've always wanted to say that and I'm always so jealous of that.

Speaker 3:

Hello, happy to be here, very excited. I've never done a podcast before, so we'll see how this goes.

Speaker 1:

We are so excited to have her. We're keeping it in the fam. It's Brittany's cousin, taylor, born in 1989.

Speaker 3:

And my initials before I got married were T-A-S.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, T-A-S too.

Speaker 1:

Taylor, wait, like do you feel like lucky that, that that you have that, like I would feel blessed.

Speaker 3:

Same. Yeah, I mean, there's an album named after my birth year, so of course, Of course.

Speaker 1:

Oh, so great. Also, never forget, taylor wrote this Um, do you remember? For Brittany's wedding you wrote this like taylor swift inspired poem. I like still think about that poem. That's like the best thing I've ever read. It was so clever. It had every single like what was. It was like every you worked in all the album.

Speaker 3:

I worked in all the different songs. I mean I even include boots in there, because booty was trouble when he walked in britney's all-time favorite cat.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I feel like that's your secret talent, taylor, is like poem making poem writing.

Speaker 2:

It could be yeah, cool, all right. Well, let's get into it. We're going to talk about like three kind of topics. We'll get to know Taylor. She actually works at the PGA spoiler alert, so we're going to get some inside scoop on that. We're going to talk about being a new mom. Taylor has a daughter, olivia. What is she like? Eight months old now. She'll be eight months next week. Yeah, crazy, yeah, such a good age. I'm jealous. And then we're going to talk Taylor, because Taylor is also a big Swifty, just like us. Cool, all right, let's get into it. Question number one where are you from and where do you live now?

Speaker 3:

I'm originally from Winchester Mass, just north of Boston, and I currently live in Jacksonville, florida, which is where the PGA Tour is based, so that's why I'm down here. Nice, Tell us about your family. My husband, alex. We've been married for almost three years now, but we've been dating. We started dating in like 2013. So we dated for a long time before we got married and, like you said, I have a baby girl, olivia, who is going to be eight months next week, and then I have two cats, jax and Rory.

Speaker 2:

They're so cute.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so we should maybe say Brittany and Taylor are related through their moms, their sisters. This family is not just a cat family, they are the cat family, the cat family.

Speaker 2:

There's actually a cat in my lap right now. Yeah, eddie, how many cats.

Speaker 1:

Do you think there are between you?

Speaker 2:

girl, or just like all the uh cousins on that side, I don't even know over 10.

Speaker 3:

I mean lizzie has two, we have two, you have three, davis has one, emma has one, davis yeah yeah, so you guys get.

Speaker 2:

Then that's not even including the moms, yeah also I have to say taylor.

Speaker 1:

I love the name olivia, it's so pretty you too.

Speaker 2:

That was one of my top girl news yeah, we were.

Speaker 3:

We were pretty much set on that. We didn't tell anybody before we named her. But it goes well with our last name and, yeah, it's a normal name, so good, I'm glad you guys like it we do.

Speaker 2:

What do you like and dislike about living in florida?

Speaker 3:

florida. Uh, the beaches are great here, you know, just white sand. We're close to cities like savannah and miami. If you want to take a little like weekend trip up to savannah, it's a two-hour drive, so that's always great. I love savannah always great.

Speaker 1:

Savannah. You have that I love.

Speaker 3:

Savannah. The weather from like September to April 1st is obviously amazing.

Speaker 2:

Oh, kristen, I feel like you'll like this. When I visited Taylor, she told me a fun fact about Jacksonville that it's what the biggest city land wise right In the US or something yeah.

Speaker 3:

In terms of like land area, the city land wise right in the us or something in terms. Yeah, in terms of like land area, the city of jacksonville is the biggest in the in the country, so like you think la crazy huge and like so spread out, but jacksonville is actually even bigger than that that is something I would like.

Speaker 1:

I love a geography fun fact I really do.

Speaker 2:

I would have given you love any fun fact no, totally like.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I feel like in another life I should have been a trivia announcer, but that is a good one.

Speaker 2:

All right, cool. So, speaking of Jacksonville, I guess tell us about your job. How long have you been doing?

Speaker 1:

it. Yeah, I'm so curious about your job Working at the PGA. That's so unique.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I've been there for a little over five years now. I currently work on our champions tour, so it's our, it's our senior tour. So players 50 and over who you know had successful careers playing on the PGA tour, like Vijay Singh, ernie Els, jim Pyrrhic I don't know if any of those names ring bells, but they played right around Tiger when he was in his prime. I was going to say would Tiger?

Speaker 3:

be in that he turns 50 this December, so he would be eligible for Champions Tour. No one really knows what he's doing so I can't. It's hard to predict what he'll do, especially with his injuries. What he'll do, especially with his injuries. So I work in our competitions player relations team doing our. You know our fields each week, what players are committing and withdrawing, and then making sure our rules officials know who are on site. You know what players are, you know coming and going and then you know we do credentials for every single player and their family, making sure that you can get into the places you need to get into on site.

Speaker 2:

There are so many logistics with golf tournaments I feel like I've learned that from the one that Chris is in every year but it's so many logistics and the scoring and all that, so props, I'm sure it takes a lot of people, oh my gosh, coordinating something that big.

Speaker 1:

In preparation for your episode, Taylor, I started watching a couple episodes of Full Swing, have you seen?

Speaker 3:

this? Yes, I have Okay, did you watch?

Speaker 2:

the latest, the latest season.

Speaker 1:

Me.

Speaker 2:

Me yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, I've only watched a couple episodes of season one, but I already have I have strong opinions.

Speaker 2:

I actually kind of fell off halfway through the third season.

Speaker 1:

But so that's good. I feel like the first season was the best one. Yeah, what do you? Okay, can I just ask a couple not to like derail, but I do want to know, between some of the golfers featured on the first season, who do we like the most? Taylor, cause, I need, I need to know who I'm rooting for for the rest of the season. Um, we had Jordan Spieth, justin Thomas, brooks, kepka those are the three that are coming to mind Spieth and JT are yeah, they're two guys you can obviously root for.

Speaker 3:

Kepka is on the other league that I'm not going to name, but he left the PGA Tour. Oh we did. So root for him if you want to, but he's not playing the PGA Tour.

Speaker 1:

No, that answers that. I'm glad I asked you haven't gone there, yet he's in the majors. No, they introduced the other league, but I didn't know that he had left yet.

Speaker 3:

No, they don't admit to anything in season one.

Speaker 1:

yet I can't remember they yet?

Speaker 1:

no, they don't admit to anything in season one. Yet they like remember, they like allude to it, they say like they start to bring it up, but they don't really get into it too much. But where I'm at, he has basically like he was on fire. He won four majors right, that's the title in one year and then he was like going for another one, but he didn't even so. I didn't even know this. You have to, I guess, in a tournament and Taylor, let me know what I'm saying wrong here, cause I'm sure I am but like in a tournament, you have to basically like make it through the first half to even get paid or you walk away with nothing. And the episode I see, he walked away with nothing, he like totally tanks.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's correct. So a typical professional golf tournament is four days, thursday through sunday, and there's a cut after the friday round. So, um, the pga tour it's top 65 players and ties, so usually 75 ish guys might make the weekend and so when you make the weekend you do get a paycheck. But if you don't, then you, you walk away with nothing.

Speaker 1:

That's where I left off. He walked away with nothing, so we're not into him. My personal favorite right now. I'm all about JT, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. I was going to say, I feel like you would love Spieth and JT because they're like buddies and besties too. Oh my God.

Speaker 1:

I love those fellas busties too. Oh my god, I love those fellas. Love those fellas. They're out there just like playing each other for, oh, they're so cute, like, just for like prop bets. I was all about them.

Speaker 3:

I'm rooting for those two and if you watch, if you do watch, happy go more too. They both have cameos in it does that movie good?

Speaker 3:

I feel like I've heard it was not good I think you have to take it with a grain of salt, but I think it was better. I probably had very low expectations, so I think it was better. I probably had very low expectations, so I think it was better than I thought it was. And they have, like Alex, something is like 65 different cameos in it. Alex Earl is actually, I think, in it briefly.

Speaker 1:

Oh damn, and you talked about it last week or last episode. Yeah, yeah, I'm more and more inclined to watch it the more I hear about it and now that I know that my guy, my main man, jt, justin Thomas because I watch golf now is in it, like say less in there.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and Taylor told us to watch it. So Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1:

We have two Taylors born in 1989 telling us to watch this, so we can't refuse.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly, it gets a little confusing too who's your favorite golfer.

Speaker 3:

I mean I like Rory McIlroy. When he won Augusta this year for the masters, it was just like yeah.

Speaker 2:

I was happy for him.

Speaker 3:

Like I was, like I almost got tears in my eyes just because of, like seeing that relief on his face. He worked so hard to to accomplish that. I love, I love. I've always loved speed too though.

Speaker 1:

Well, what was Rory's deal? I knew it was a big deal that he won.

Speaker 3:

There's four majors in professional golf, and when you win all four, you've completed the Grand Slam.

Speaker 3:

That needs a better name um, he, rory had so much success in their like 2010 through 2015. He won. He won three out of those four majors then and then he just had this 11 year gap where he could not win augusta to complete that, that foursome. So this is the year when he finally did it, and there's I I should know this, but I forget the number but there's like only four or five other players in the history of golf who have the grand slam tiger woods, yes go rory, yeah I know I was, and rory is, uh, the namesake of taylor's kitty, rory, and he's ir Irish.

Speaker 2:

I mean, we love the Irish. I know well, so you haven't got to. There's like the Ryder Cup part and he's on the European team. There's like the US team, the European team. I thought that was the best part of the documentary oh no, I definitely like it had me interested.

Speaker 1:

I didn't. I learned so much about golf. I didn't realize just how crazy like it can change from one day to the other.

Speaker 3:

No, I know that's why full swing is great, because it gets a non-golfer like you, kristen and Brittany too you don't golf, but interested in who these players are. So I think that was one of the reasons why it's been on for three seasons now.

Speaker 2:

Totally. What advice would you give someone trying to get into sports marketing? Very difficult.

Speaker 3:

Oh, the normal, like definitely networking. I hate, hate to say that, but it is such a small. It is such a small industry with, like it's so competitive that if you do know that one person who can maybe get help you, get you know your resume in front of the right people, that obviously helps and that's, I would think, with any other, any other job that's competitive. The other thing I would say is make sure you like what you, what you're doing for your job, not just that it's in sports but on a day to day basis.

Speaker 3:

Do you actually like what you're doing? Because otherwise you know it's you're going to be like. I hate this. I don't care that it's in. Yeah, it's not as good as it probably seems Like this is boring or, yeah, this is not fun. So those are probably the two things I would say.

Speaker 1:

When did you first start playing golf? I don't think I even knew, because I knew you played when you were younger. But when did you start start?

Speaker 3:

my dad started having me take lessons at like the age of six or seven just with our at our local club, and then the club I grew up on has a little nine hole course. So that was like actually huge and making me kind of like it more because you were playing mini holes and more tailored to, obviously, kids. So, yeah, it made that much more likable because I wasn't taking like seven shots to get to the green, it was normal like two or three so Taylor's dad might be slightly more obsessed with golf even than my dad, kristen, which will kind of surprise you honestly for yeah, knowing that is, but that's awesome uh oh, and you just won a championship, didn't you?

Speaker 2:

Was it the father-daughter? I know you've won the club championship at your course. Yeah, no, the women's club championship.

Speaker 3:

My dad and I just won the father-daughter up at Winchester. We won it last year too. We just won again.

Speaker 1:

Let's go, I love that, but we're going to go next year.

Speaker 2:

Fun 18 holes. Taylor sent a picture of her and her dad. Or maybe it was your mom, I don't know, but your dad, like I, have never seen him, looked happier.

Speaker 3:

He just loves winning everyone at the club just will like congratulate him and talk to him about it, and he's like I mean, yeah, it's because Taylor can hit the ball really well, so I'm in positions that I am never in in a good way. Yeah, he likes it.

Speaker 2:

Cool, I feel like we've done most of our golf questions. I guess my only other question about golf is like what's like? Will you just give us like a little like spiel of like what's going on in the world of golf right now? That will make us sound smart to boys.

Speaker 1:

No, oh my God, yes. Now that will make us sound smart to boys. No, oh my God, yes. Like what can we bring back? Yes?

Speaker 3:

I need this.

Speaker 3:

So the first thing is so there's a difference between so I work at the PGA tour, which is like the tour of professional tournaments for our professional members. But then there's also the PGA of America, which is based in Dallas, texas, and they are like the organization that represents like your local golf golfer, teaching professionals. So if you went to a you know club and needed lessons like, that teacher is probably a PGA professional and he's been certified, you know, at different levels to teach the game of golf to you. So a lot of people always get that confused. It's the PGA Tour and then the PGA of America. So now tour players can be members of the PGA of America, but you won't see many PGA of America professionals playing on our tour unless they get a special exemption or something.

Speaker 2:

So the tour is where you want to be.

Speaker 3:

The tour is all the, all the big names that you know, like they're the ones they're playing on tour.

Speaker 1:

So we should ask like oh, are they on tour? Like if someone's a golfer, we'd be like oh, are they on?

Speaker 3:

tour, yeah, or how. How are they doing? How are they doing on tour this season, or something? Because, they probably. Yeah, if they're a bigger name, are there? Any more big majors no no majors are done this season yeah, that was my second thing the rider cup, which you are watching about season season one of full swing is coming up. Uh, september 26th through the 28th, that's the usa versus europe.

Speaker 3:

Um you'll like that one held at beth page black, which is in new york this year, so you can imagine what the crowds are going to be like. Yeah, and the rider cup happens every two years in 2020 and it flip-flops between a us site and a european site. So in 20, it's actually being held in Adair Manor in Ireland, which is like a beautiful course from what I've seen Like gorgeous, basically like a castle for like a clubhouse.

Speaker 1:

Damn.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, imagine that. And the US has not done too well in the past couple of Ryder Cups. They've only won two of the last seven. What?

Speaker 2:

Oh damn, hopefully B&B will help them.

Speaker 3:

This year, keegan Bradley is the captain and he's the one who gets to pick six more players in addition to six auto qualifiers. Oh, and the question that everyone's talking about is is he going to be a playing captain? So will he be a captain, but will he also play? Oh, and he gets to decide that he picks, he gets to decide yeah, if he feels like he's really playing well enough and he can also kind of do captaincy duties, then he'll play, which will create some controversy, as should he have chosen another player who might be, you know, on a hot streak and can help contribute. So we'll see. It's coming. The decision is definitely coming up very soon.

Speaker 2:

That's definitely going to be on the next, the next season. That's definitely gonna be a big storyline.

Speaker 1:

That's a storyline for sure. First off, love the name Keegan. Second, why? How did this man get to be captain if he's not even like auto-qualified to play?

Speaker 3:

They usually choose somebody who has experience you know has been on a previous team before. You know was he a vice captain in previous years Somebody who you know the players will listen to. Yeah, it's like a veteran.

Speaker 2:

They talk about it on the show, like how they pick them yeah, a veteran. They talk about it on the show like how they pick.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, a veteran guy and he. He may have been a little bit of a surprise pick by some, but you know, I don't think anybody really knew how well he was actually going to do this season, so that he's suddenly in this position to possibly play, can't predict who's the european? Captain luke donald. He's a european player.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, snitches. So another little snippet here. You can say oh, who's keegan choosing to play on the rider cop team is he gonna play or is he not? Right, right, right, is he playing, is he not? Yeah, totally okay, got it nailed it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, wait yeah so those are my two, my two things I think that you can talk about.

Speaker 2:

I love that for us.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, kristen, you should keep watching full swing because I now that I'm like thinking about it, my two things I think that you can talk about. I love that for us. Yeah, kristen, you should keep watching full swing because I now that I'm like thinking about it, you'll like it. The rider part, the rider cup part, is the best. I think that's why I fell off in season three, cause like there wasn't anything like that. But like all the guys like love being on it, because it's like a team, like it's the only time they get to compete as a team and like you know, there's like the rivalry Europe and the US and like obviously they get to play at like the sickest courses. So it's like the tournament. I mean, at least I think Taylor, you can correct me if I'm wrong but it's like the one that they all want to be a part of.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean anyone. Anyone who has a Ryder cup attached to their name, you know, in the history of golf has has some cred to them. So I think it's definitely another, along with winning a major. I think being on the Ryder Cup is something that players always aspire to, aspire to do.

Speaker 1:

Wait, this might be like the perfect intro to golf. I'm going to watch full swing and then, once the Ryder Cup comes along, I'm going to be totally ready and I'm obviously rooting America. And now we'll know who the players are and who's on the team. Oh my God, I'm so excited about this. Yeah, okay, great, stay tuned. Late September, I will be texting you, taylor, because I'm full in. I'm full in.

Speaker 2:

September 26th, right 26th through the 28th Yep.

Speaker 3:

Mark your calendar stitches.

Speaker 2:

All right, let's move on to our next little section parenting. What have you found most challenging about being?

Speaker 3:

a first time parent Figuring out what she wants when she cries, that's for sure. Now she's such a good baby, I'm not complaining. She, like, rarely cries. Even the teachers at her daycare are like she never cries. So when she does, you know that something is bothering her.

Speaker 2:

but what is that like?

Speaker 3:

that is yeah, um, and then you know just doing everything for her that she needs, you know feeding her, changing her, doing her lawn, like everything that just needs to be done when you have a baby because she can't do anything herself.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and also trying to balance that with what you need too did, I would just hear britney say you're their slave no, you literally are.

Speaker 2:

I'm still connor entire slave. We call connor his majesty because he's like mama, get me juice, get me juice, get me this.

Speaker 1:

He's adorable hilarious yeah, but his favorite thing to do is order people around I've heard, like you get to almost a place, you guys feel like this, that you almost start to differentiate their cries, like you can. Like I've heard some people say this that sometimes they, like babies, have different cries for different things, or is that just like a myth to me?

Speaker 3:

that's a myth yeah, at least when they're really little a cry is a cry. Yeah, cry is a cry. I mean, if olivia's crying, she's either hungry she probably needs to burp, or she might be tired, I guess. But yeah, I don't think I really differentiate her cries that's actually like a relief to hear. I feel like that would be a lot yeah, no, you already think about way too much. Don't try to. Yeah, no, you're already thinking about way too much.

Speaker 2:

Don't try to analyze a two-month-old's cry. Totally, yeah, I feel like it is crazy and I think your mom said this to me, taylor. It's crazy how much you get to know them. You know them so well. I have a freaking doctorate in Connor and Tyler. You know what I mean. It's crazy just from spending time with them or, yeah, they'll say words Connor used to say hopaa and people will be like what's that? I'm like football, like I just understand his language, like I just know him. Tyler calls fruit snacks nana. So if Tyler starts saying nana, nana, that means fruit snack, things like that.

Speaker 3:

So that's fun. I'm not there yet. She's just starting to babble saying like that, that, that, that, so that's fun, I'm not there yet. She's just starting to babble saying like that, that, that, that. So we'll see what her first word is oh, that's exciting. She's so cute yeah, she's a good, she's a really good baby and she's she's moving up to her next like classroom on monday.

Speaker 3:

She's going wow one to infant two. Let's go girl, go girl, go Olivia. I peeked in the window of the classroom two weeks ago or something. Oh my God, chaos, because all the babies can move around now. Her current one everyone just sits there nicely in their little seats and then listens. Oh my God, the next one chaos.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah she's gonna be like trying to walk. Yeah, she sees all the other kids there's.

Speaker 3:

You know it's gonna be like nine, nine month olds are there who could definitely crawl and are probably half standing and stuff. So yeah, and there she is.

Speaker 1:

She'll just be like sitting there, good as gold yeah, I've definitely said this to you brit like once your kiddos start going to like daycare, preschool, whatever you're like, oh my God, what do they do? They're living their own little lives in the world. How are they doing, how are they managing on their own? I mean literally an eight-month-old, it's a little different, but I feel like once you start hitting preschool, I'm like, oh my gosh, how are they handling the world on their own? It's so weird yeah.

Speaker 2:

I always tell people Chris has a friend from college and they live in New York City but their daycare, I'm sure it's extremely expensive, but they have like a camera on the kids so the parents can just go on and watch this live feed. It's like the Big Brother thing you watch, kristen, it's like a live feed of daycare. I was like I would literally watch it all day long. I wouldn't do any work.

Speaker 3:

Oh, that'd be stressful for me. We just get up like a picture a day or something. Oh my God, a video would be so stressful. I'd be like she's crying, go get her. Or like, yeah, that's good, like feed her more food or something I don't know. So yeah, that's a lot.

Speaker 1:

My screen time would be through the frigging roof. With that, I would have that thing on all the time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would just want to know, like if they had friends who they were playing with. Yeah, all right, our next parent question what's the most rewarding thing about being a first time parent?

Speaker 3:

Definitely just watching her like learn new things. Yeah, love to make her laugh, love when she laughs. And I love getting her up in the morning, like no matter how bad the night was before. If it was, I mean, she slept through the night last night. But you know, if we have a bad, you know if we have a bad night still got to get her up at 7, 7.15 and get her ready for school and she'll just look at you and smile and just be so happy to see you, and that's when I have the most energy.

Speaker 3:

So I'm like, yay, a new day, ready to get it started, and, yeah, I just love waking her up. That's a good one.

Speaker 1:

Stassi Schroeder said once she was like my two favorite parts of the day are like putting the kids to bed, but then also like getting them up.

Speaker 3:

I love putting Olivia to bed so that I can just Netflix and chill, but I also love getting up in the morning yeah, it is nice getting them up in the morning, but it's so great putting them to bed.

Speaker 2:

um, all right, let's get to the fun stuff Taylor. So top three Taylor songs and favorite albums. I guess this is a multitude of questions.

Speaker 3:

Okay, my top three songs, I would say, are I Knew you Were Trouble Really.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I always think of you for that one.

Speaker 3:

I've been obsessed with that song since it came out.

Speaker 1:

Yes, okay, style Number one on my list Respect.

Speaker 3:

I really like Daddy, daddy, I love him. Oh, I do too. That's. And then fave albums, 1989 and rep. Solid, so solid. What are your favorite performances? So don't blame me from the rep tour.

Speaker 2:

And Eras and Eras.

Speaker 3:

But like when you first saw it on the Rep Tour.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a little longer too.

Speaker 3:

So cool. I really like, just like your cousin Kristen, look what you Made Me Do on the Eras Tour. Yes, I feel like really like based it up and made it so much like heavier or something. Yes, yeah, I really liked that one and then okay. So this is like kind of out there. But when she did the victoria's secret fashion show and saying she's in trouble.

Speaker 2:

Oh trouble she had, like the. It wasn't that carly cost with.

Speaker 3:

She walks with carly navy and fallout boy yes, oh yeah with her and she was in the british flag like dress. Oh my god, she's amazing. Wait what a pick. Yes, yes, that's what we want.

Speaker 1:

Really like that one yes, I forgot about that one. That outfit was so sick. Oh, she looks so good, so good all right.

Speaker 2:

Last but not least, tell us about your draft picks. Tell us what you would draft. I guess it's not totally fair because there's not actually a draft, but yeah, I assumed I'm not gonna get like style all too well 10.

Speaker 3:

You know all those top ones together so I did uh trouble. I did out of the woods. Cornelia Love, I can do it with a broken heart. Love that one Daylight. I really like daylight whenever.

Speaker 1:

I'm here. I love daylight too. There's like a certain part of daylight that's just such a bop, it's like when she's starting to do the like I once believed love would be.

Speaker 2:

Yes, you know that part is so sick it's burning.

Speaker 1:

Oobrit, oobrit, it's burning, ubre, ubre. Hit that note, girl.

Speaker 3:

I hear you the talking part at the end is weird, though I don't know if I like that part 100% agree, that's how she ends the album. I'm like okay.

Speaker 2:

Daddy, I love him.

Speaker 3:

Midnight.

Speaker 1:

Rain. I love that one.

Speaker 3:

Her performance on Erector was cool how she changed into the new outfit, last Kiss. Last Kiss always reminds me of it was when I was studying abroad in Madrid, and I was always listening to the album when I commuted on the subway to my class. So somehow Last Kiss would always come on right as I was walking to the class and it was just, I don't't know. It's like that period of time. Yeah, it reminds me of that. Uh, tears ricochet solely because it was eras tour performance like yeah, I liked it before, but totally changed the song for me.

Speaker 1:

You're not sorry, throwback wow yeah, that's one of my favorites now that you're're saying these like, yeah, I can. That's what a top one to sing in the car.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, oh it's. If you just need, yeah, something to just be sad about and just yell at, or?

Speaker 2:

whatever You're not, and the Taylor's version is really good. I feel like it's like better than the first version.

Speaker 3:

Is it over now?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, oh, we love that one that made my list.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we love that one.

Speaker 3:

Down Bad.

Speaker 2:

That's my jam.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I really like Red.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, oh, solid. I have a very flashbulb memory of listening to Red for the first time in the Manconi's house on the couch, like I have a very, very vivid of listening to that for the first time, being like, oh wow, this is like different for her because it was like the first time that she went away from country.

Speaker 3:

yeah, um, yeah, maybe that's why I like trouble so much too is because it was like so the first three songs on red are, like you know, still kind of have that country vibe. But then you just yeah trouble and it's like, oh okay, this is pop now um can I?

Speaker 3:

ask you. I want to ask you guys one question too. Oh yeah, okay, so we obviously did the whole eras tour for a year and a half, but that kind of came about because, uh, kind of covid hit, and so would you rather have had the Eris tour, like we did, or have individual concerts for each album, like she was doing previously, like every two and a half years? What?

Speaker 1:

a great time, so like Lover.

Speaker 3:

Folklore, evermore Midnights, and then TTPD now.

Speaker 1:

Okay. So I think I would say I'm gonna stick with eras solely because I feel like she wouldn't have even come out with folklore and evermore, had it not been for covid, like she would have just done the lover fest thing. I feel like we wouldn't have had the amount of music that she gave us in that time, so I'm gonna stick with Arras for that reason, however, would I have loved to see more shows for sure.

Speaker 2:

Yeah um, I would say I'm greedy and I would like to have more shows. I think she is happy that she did the Arras tour, so I'm happy for her for that. But yeah, I mean I would like to have more shows and but the Arras tour I mean the Arras tour is awesome. It also became like I feel like made it become like cool to be a swifty it was a cultural moment, like it?

Speaker 2:

yeah, like it was like a lot broader, like her fan base grew a ton because of that. But like, to me that's like not all a positive thing. I mean it's positive in the sense for taylor she totally deserves it.

Speaker 3:

But like the ticket prices, come on yeah and now we're never going to be able to get tickets again for her concerts, right? It's like everyone wants to go yeah, I.

Speaker 1:

What do you think, taylor? What do you think on the heiress tour thing?

Speaker 3:

well, I, I would choose the heiress tour.

Speaker 1:

I think oh my god, I love that you asked us a question yeah, that was a good one wait, this was so much fun, taylor. Thank you so much for coming on the pod, did you like?

Speaker 3:

it yeah, girl chat on a.

Speaker 1:
